The band do an amazing job of ‘reading the room’ to see what songs people get up to- the dance floor was packed all night!! Their version of our first dance song nearly had us in tears. We chose ‘Coming Home’ by Leon Bridges and although not on the bands set list online they learnt it and smashed it. They are quite simply the best in this business. They can jump from one genre to another so seamlessly to suit everyones taste, which is important at any wedding!

"We booked Carlyle for our wedding on November 12th 2022 and we can’t praise this band enough!!

Carlyle were absolutely incredible!! We received comment after comment from guests saying how amazing they were and the vocals are honestly out of this world! We requested an unconventional first dance song and they made it a dream come true. We can’t stop ourselves from watching the video back and still get goosebumps every time. We also requested an alternative song to be performed for the Dashing White Sergeant, and again they did it effortlessly! Guaranteed we will be talking about them for years to come. "We had booked Carlyle for our wedding, and they were absolutely fantastic. They were amazing with our first dance song and made it a really special moment for us.
Apart from a couple of requests we asked Carlyle to play for our wedding, it was very much left to the band what they played for the rest of the night and we were so happy that this happened. They knew how to read the room and the dancefloor was never empty from start to finish. It was brilliant to see and made so many memories for everyone there.
Our guests had so many compliments about the band ranging from their energy and their song choices. One guest commented that they have never heard a man sing Dancing Queen so well, and it was a highlight of the night. However, they honestly smashed every song they played. The venue staff also commented during that it had been a while since they have had a band that was so good play at a wedding there.
When speaking to them before & at the wedding, they were so friendly and professional. There wasn't one time we felt nervous about our booking with them. Overall, we would recommend them to anyone else in a heartbeat.

"Can’t believe it’s been over a week since our wedding! What a day, anyway the band - WOW WOW WOW they were absolutely outstanding!! They arrived in plenty of time spoke to us and our guests, and set up with no disruption! They played our first dance song and then got the party started! The dance floor was full of our guests the whole night! We previously spoke with Crawford and discussed different music and our likes and dislikes, they did not disappoint with their chosen set list! Our guests said to us a number of times how amazing the band were and how amazing Crawford voice is! It’s still spoken about now when we catch up with friend how brilliant they are! We had a nice chat with the band members once they finish, and they were still just as polite and positive even after using every drop of their energy to entertain at our wedding.

We would definitely recommend Carlyle to anyone who is looking for a band. We would also 100% consider them if we ever had a big event. We canna spoke highly enough about them and thank them for how much they just topped off one of our most important day of our lives.

'Best Wedding Band EVER' was mentioned on many occasions. What a voice!!!! Obviously everything is important for the Bride and Groom on the day of their wedding. However one of our main hopes when planning was for the band to be good and get the guests dancing! Carlyle 100% surpassed that! I would encourage any future couples to use Hire A Band who were very commutative and made the whole process simple. "My wedding was on the 14th May at Lochside Hotel, Lodges and Spa. I never write reviews, but on this occasion it had to be done!!! At the booking stage the hireaband team were fab - emails were prompt and booking was easy and seamless. The website was easy to use - what else could you ask for!

And what can I say about Carlyle.....ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!!...I spoke to Crawford on the phone 2 weeks before the wedding and he just made me feel at ease about their performance. We never got a chance to see them sing live before the wedding (COVID), we watched the clips off the hireaband site and off Carlyle's Facebook page. The videos of the band sound amazing, but nothing compared to how they sound live!!!!! They are AWESOME!!!! For me, the band makes a major impact on the atmosphere and vibe at wedding, so it was a big deal for us to find a band that would ensure the dance floor was never empty.....and by hiring Carlyle your dancefloor will be bouncing!!! They play a great range of songs that will suit many generations, but will also learn some tracks that are not on their playlist too!

Crawford's vocals are out of this world!!His range is unbelievable!!! All the boys were sooo friendly and are all fantastic at what they do!

A wedding is such a big deal and you want to ensure everything comes together! I guarantee if you book Carlyle that you can relax about the entertainment because they are absolute pro's and will have all your guests talking about how amazing the band were! They were a major talking point at our wedding....guests couldn't praise them enough and neither can we!

"From the beginning, Hire a Band were absolutely brilliant, so helpful and made sure we got the band we wanted...who did not disappoint!
I cannot praise Carlyle enough, they were absolutely AMAZING! Everyone at our wedding said they were the best wedding band they'd ever heard, the dance floor was full the whole night, I think I left the dance floor twice! I had to keep checking that Crawford was singing because he was so amazing, he sounded like a recorded track, what a voice that man has, he can literally sing anything and blows you away while doing it, incredible! My only advice to any brides hiring in the future is...get your trainers on because you will not want to sit down! We can't thank the Carlyle boys enough for coming all the way to Campbeltown for us, you made our night, such a lovely bunch of guys!

"Well, where do we begin?!

You guys were outstanding!

We are over the moon with how our evening went. It was such an amazing atmosphere and we have you to thank for that.

Every song was a hit with the crowd and you played so many of our favourites. Including Foo Fighters (although Steven nearly missed it!!), which was just amazing of you. When you played Erasure and everyone took the floor, we had a moment looking at everyone enjoying themselves and I'm so glad we captured the happiness on everyone's faces.

Crawford is a great guy with an outstanding voice, there can't be many songs he isn't able to sing. The band learned our first dance song from scratch with only a weeks notice and absolutely nailed it.
